The Solano Youth Voices platform is used as a tool to advocate for policy changes with our local, county, state, and federal officeholders.
Youth leaders involved with the Council learn public speaking skills, data research and analysis, and how city, county, state, and federal governments work.
Several local agencies are supporting the Youth Leadership Council, including:
-
Solano County Department of Health and Social Services houses Child Welfare Services
-
Juvenile Probation at the Solano County Probation Department
The Youth Leadership Council is funded by the generous support of the
Walter S. Johnson Foundation
