12,866 children in Solano County are living in poverty.
In Solano County, 13.1% of children, or 12,866 kids, are living in poverty. Among households led by a female head of household with no spouse present, this percentage rises to 15.8%.
While Solano County is known for its beauty, diversity, and affordable neighborhoods, many families still face challenges like the high cost of living, limited access to healthcare, and housing instability. Although resources are available, they are often scattered across different agencies, making it difficult for families to access the help they need. At Children's Network of Solano County, we are working to bridge these gaps and ensure that every family has the support they deserve.
