SOLANO FATHER'S NETWORK
Our mission is to strengthen and support Solano fathers so they can fully engage in the lives of their children and families.
Solano Fathers Network is a voluntary program with multiple incentives, including the possibility of:
Review/modification of child support orders
Review/reduction of amounts owed to the state
Review and/or reinstatement of driver's license
Fathers who enroll choose from a menu of activities and services. Areas of focus include responsible parenting, healthy relationship skills, job readiness, and budgeting. Other key program services are:
Case Management - Goal Setting
Family Violence Prevention
Linkages to Counseling and Treatment Services
Access to Basic Needs Resources
Interested fathers may be referred to their local Family Resource Centers by a variety of public agencies and community-based organizations such as Child Support Services, Health and Social Services, School Districts, churches and more. However, fathers do not need an official referral to learn about and enroll in program activities and services.
Program Services are delivered through established Family Resource Centers located throughout Solano County, with locations in Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun, Vacaville, and Vallejo. Additional program support is provided by our partner agencies.
The Solano Fathers Network provides a comprehensive program of services for low-income fathers in Solano County who want to be responsible fathers committed to strong family relationships.

Funding for this project was provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children, Grant #90FK0058-01-00. The services provided under this grant are available to all eligible persons, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or religion.
NURTURING FATHER'S PROGRAM
The Nurturing Father's Program is a 13-week group based program that will help participants learn how to:
1. Create safe, loving, stable and nurtured families.
2. Utilize positive discipline tools for successful child behavior management.
3. Use effective family communication techniques to strengthen family relationships.
4. Practice strategies for conflict resolution and problem-solving.
5. Achieve cooperation and teamwork in family life.
