Children's Network    a united voice for the children of Solano County

ChildNet Results Manager - Overview

In 1995, the Children’s Network of Solano County formed a network to support Family Resource Centers in Solano County.  Realizing that the limited staffs of the Family Resource Centers were being overwhelmed with the tasks of tracking their client base, managing employee service records, and reporting to funding agencies on programming outcomes, the Children’s Network set out to create a unified database that could accomplish all of those tasks in the easiest and most efficient way possible.

The result of this work is ChildNet Results Manager.  This Microsoft Access-based application is a self-contained program that collects and records all data related to clients on one single integrated intake page.  Preprogrammed report formats make reporting as easy as entering a start and stop date range and selecting output to the screen, printer, or email.  Advanced filtering allows the user to select targeted sub-groups for reporting.

ChildNet Results Manager has been designed to track CAPIT and PSSF results; AmeriCorps member work histories; TCM case management encounters, notes, and billings; basic needs voucher programs; as well as Family Development Matrix scores and reports.  The program has been field tested for two years in all of the Family Resource Center in Solano County with great success. With increased emphasis on ROMA-compliant reporting, ChildNet Results Manager has been instrumental in meeting our funding agencies’ outcomes reporting requirements.

The Children’s Network has received numerous inquires concerning the possibility of licensing ChildNet Results Manager for use by other organizations.  Our Board of Directors has agreed to release the program for sale to other Family Resource Centers and CBOs.  If your organization is interested in more information (especially the feasibility of porting over your existing data), a demonstration, or possibly purchasing the program, please contact us and we will be glad to come to you for a demonstration of this powerful tool.
