Stipends for Professional Growth Activities - Title V Program Staff Only

Stipend Amount: $150 per year

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Must hold at least a valid Teach Level Permit.

Currently work at a state subsidized center in Solano County for pay at least 30 hours per week with at least one child, not your own, under the age of 5.

Earn less than $60,000 working as a child care provider/early educator.

Must have worked 9 consecutive months at current site at time of submitting stipend application.

Annual Participation Requirements:

To earn a stipend, participants must:

Meet with the program staff to complete a Professional Development Plan and application.

Complete 21 hours of professional growth activities which meet their professional goals (as outlined in Professional Development Plan).

The Solano CARES/Professional Development Program is a project of the Solano County Child Care Planning Council and is administered by the Children's Network of Solano County.
